Ang Mo Kio: A Walking and Cycling Town
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) have drawn up preliminary plans to make Ang Mo Kio a more walkable and cyclist-friendly town. By 2018, it will be easier and more convenient to walk and cycle for short trips as well as to connect to public transport nodes.

Study on Bishan-to-City Cycling Route
URA is commissioning a planning study to determine the technical feasibility of a series of pedestrian and cycling-friendly crossings along the Kallang Park Connector.

If implemented, these would make the 10km route virtually seamless, creating a north-south commuter cycling route to the CBD and Marina Bay, and an iconic recreational route between Bishan-Ang
Mo Kio Park and Gardens by the Bay.
